1.waste time(5 month after spm and 10 month after stpm if go ipta)
2.very boring(the book is boring)
3.for hardworking people(study more than 8 hours per day)
4.very hard(one of the hardest exam in the world)
5.waste money(even though stpm is free, when the time you have graduate is 2 year later than those goes to private university .So they will buy the cheaper property and car ,if the price of the property and car increase in two year is more than the education fee they spend means they did not make a wrong choice .The annual increase in salary will also higher because they work earlier than stpm sudent)
6.Need to study pengajian am (is useless when you are working)
7.Need to obey school rules (you cannot bring mobile phones ,dyed hair and etc)
8.Very hard to get excellent result(only 390 student achieved 4 flat in stpm 2014 )
9.the student is decreasing year by year(this means the exam sure got problem)
10.very hard to get the course you wanted in ipta(most student cant get the course they wanted especially medicine ,pharmacy and dentistry and many students offered to study at locations such as Kedah and Sabah )
